Trans Lines At Radiator

I'm installing a Hayden trans cooler today but I'm not familiar with the connections of the trans lines coming out of the radiator. How do I remove them?

They have spring clip that locks them into the fitting that is screwed into the radiator. You can just remove the fitting at the radiator without messing with the retaining clip. Then just purchase fittings to use in the radiator and on the tube end

 

Or you could get a service manual and figure it out

Here's a picture of the clip that holds the line on. You should be able to use a small flat head screw driver to pull out on one side. Once it clears the line, you can work the clip off. It's recommended that you replace the clips upon reinstallation.
