Im pretty excited to get this on and going but as soon as it came in I called a local off-road shop and asked how much they would charge to install it and he said it would be around $700 total! I didnt expect someone to tell me I would be close to tripling the price of purchasing to install so I told him Ill look around some more and call him back, which I wont, but I was just wondering how much did it cost yall to install this if you have it? Also, how much should I be looking to pay for it?? Thanks yall

Most shops, at least in my area, charge around $500 to install a body lift and around $200 for a leveling kit. You may find a better price but I wouldn't count it being less than $500-$600. If you don't want to install the kit yourself, then you are stuck paying a shop. But most front end shops will install a leveling kit and align for around $100, so you could save some money right there. Good luck and happy hunting.

Damn, that's more then the average install price for a full lift kit. Hence the reason I installed mine myself. I would give that a try before paying that price!

Don't have any buddies that are mechanics? That's always the best way to go. I'm letting my friend put my body lift on for about 200 bucks.

Around here they charge 350 for the 3" body lift since you've got the 1.5" bl there is no way you should pay 500.

I would try BlackOut's advice on the front end shop putting on the level since they can align also. But find someone else to put that BL on. I paid 120.00 to have my 1.5 put on my truck. Now it was under the table kind of deal the shop let me pay one of their workers cash to put it on and the shop didn't get any money but the manager did me a favor.

No way I would pay 700 for a bl and level. I paid 700 for a 6" suspension install.

Good luck.

Yeah I figured $700 was way too much.. I looked at the directions online and it doesnt seem too difficult to install it myself but I dont wanna mess anything up bc I have never done anything like that but I have a few friends at a Tires Plus shop and Im gonna call and see if I can bring it to them and have them look at it. I didnt realize it was more of an issue to install than to buy haha Im in college so I dont have to much money to play around with so hopefully I can get it put on for a good price! But yeah, I was kinda looking more of what you did Brad519, just find someone I can pay under that table, that would help out a ton!

That's a little high I think. I was looking at the same combo as you so I called around and I got labor quotes of $1,200 $1,600 just for the level and BL, so I emailed Dave at Zone and he found me a local shop that quoted $750 parts, labor, and alignment. So maybe a little high but not horribly bad.

I paid right around $630 for 3" body lift, 2" level, wheels and tire install. The invoice did show them only charging labor for the body lift and level install however and not the wheel and tire install so idk. But in my eyes I paid that much for everything

I personally would recommend to do it yourself. Leveling kit should only take at the most an hour. And the body lift should only take maybe a day to do by yourself. I would never pay someone to do a body lift or leveling kit because they like to overcharge you. All you have to do is take your time and follow the directions.

my local shop quoted me 1,000 CANADIAN FUNDS! to intall a 2'' leveling kit, rear blocks and a 3'' body lift...i know they need to make money because buissness is buisness but... your looking at 10 hrs MAXIMUM to install these parts...thats $100 an hr, a bit much if you ask me..then when i told him i could do the work myself just didnt really want to mess with the warranty and what not and that i know how long these parts take to install he kind of zipped his mouth and said "well ya know give or take a few dollars"
