Need Help With Wiper Replacement (2007 Gmc)

I've got a 2007 GMC 1500 SLE extended cab 4x4 and need to replace my wiper blades.

I stopped at Wal-mart and picked up a set of Anco ($5 each).......of course they don't fit. Why did I think I could get by cheap???

My truck has the 22" pinch tab type....I guess that's what it's called and I'm going nuts trying to find new wipers. For God's sake, it shouldn't be this hard.....I've never had any trouble replacing wipers until this truck.

Can anyone give me some brands/part numbers that will work on this truck?

I saw this on-line and think it will work??

How about OEM? they seem to hold up and do a good job..

OEM lasted 60,000kms on my truck and I only replaced them cuz I got a set for free, yeah they are more expensive to replace but they are a good design, at least for the rain, I've heard of guys with plows complain about the snow building up on them.

NAPA sells em, not sure of part # and so does canadian tire up here, but they are like 20$ each.

I got mine at WalMart. They were the Michelin brand. Look at the higher priced wipers section and you will see the ones that fit the clip style. I think mine were about $12 or $13.

The rainx brand has them too. I have 2 pair (4 total right now in my garage)

NAPA (Trico) WIP 60-2243-13 $19.97 (OE EXACT)

Bosch BSH 4841 $16.99 (OE EXACT)

NAPA Curve OWI NBC-22 $14.99

I keep mounds of these on my shelf......... The NBC-22 is the cheapest one and it is the one the quick lubes in my area sell (it requires changing the adapter with the supplied adapter in the packaging)..... The 60-2243-13 is the curve design blade with a Teflon edge (NO ADAPTER REQUIRED, as is with the Bosch 4841 also).

These "pinch mount" blades are getting easier to find in

stock nowadaze!

If your looking for the rubber covered winter style blade your

local NAPA should have them in stock

For the gmt-900 they are NAPA #60-2257-13

$17 bucks each.

You can always try rockauto.com. I've had good results with them. They list OEM, as well as aftermarket parts, so you can compare both.
