Ohio Newbie

Hello to all. I am from the southern Ohio area, east of Cincinnati. I am a member of several other forums and when I was researching my next truck I found this site. A lot of good info on here and I really appreciate it.

 

My truck is a 07 2500HD with the 8.1/Allison combo. Yes, I lucked out and found one of the last big blocks. My past trucks have been a 84 chevy 3/4 ton with one ton springs, sm465, 205 tranfer, locker. It was a great woods truck but would beat my if I drove it anywhere else. I REALLY miss it though, it was a tank. Also had a 99 Superduty diesel. It was a good truck at the time for me but I am glad to be back with GM. Before that I have had several 1/2 ton two wheel drive chevy trucks that have served me well.

Early 07 is the 2500HD Classic which still offered the 8.1. Late 07 is the NBS without a 8.1 offering.
