Can This Be Done And Work?

Can I swap an airbox from an '08 to an '09, but in the process also swap the MAF sensor so that the '08 MAF sensor would stay in the '08 and the '09 with the '09?

My dilemma is that I bought a True Flow Xdi intake and figured it would be a simple install. I was wrong. The '07s and 08s have slightly different tubes than the '09s do. The tube that the MAF sensor sits in on the '09+ are built into the airbox whereas the '07s and '08s have a seperate short tube that it sits in. I want that tube, but I don't want to mess things up.

Help?

Sorry to say, that's not gonna work. The MAF of an '08 is mounted in an entirely different manner than that of an '09 and I believe even the electrical connectors are different.

And, the '07-08 trucks have a piece of tubing clamped to the airbox to mount the MAF. With the '09+, the MAF mount is integrated with the top of the airbox.
