Chevy Tracker Mileage....

I don't think anybody else around here owns a Chevy Tracker but I thought I'd let anyone who's interested know what kind of mpgs mine (my wife's ) can get.  

 

We went on a trip to VA this weekend and put a total of 990 miles on it.  The total mpg for the entire trip was 23.2mpg, 95% interstate traveling at 65 to 75 mph.  Hauling my wife, me and our little 4 month old son plus some luggage.

 

Not too bad for a transfer case equipped 4wd vehicle.  It has the Suzuki 2.5L motor.  When my wife drives it to work and runs errands it gets about 20 mpg due to stop and go driving.  

 

It turned 6000 miles this last trip and so far no problems with it at all.  It does kind of struggle when I tow my 7000lb travel trailer through the mountains, but you can't have it all!

I have noticed alot of ZR2 Trackers in my parts as of late
