Headers

Does anyone have a recommendation on what type, brand etc. headers for an '05 Z71. LM7 engine with all stock exhaust at this point. Only have about 12k on new engine.

I would go with a long tube design for sure. I put Borla shorties on my 2001 Yukon 5.3L, and although they looked good, the power gains were probably non-existant because they use the factory collectors.

I agree,Go with long tubes and hi-flow cats for sure!

Agreed on the long tubes. I put shortys on mine and it felt like i lost power

I agree, long tubes make power. I put a set on an old motor home I had and holy crap, it sure woke that thing up.

Ok, long tubes it is. Brand preferences? Pacesetter looks ok, can't afford hookers, but 3" for sure. Any recommendatiosn?
