If Ya Couldn't Have A Gm

Here it is, boys. If the world said "no GM trucks for you" what would it be? Would you sleep with the enemy and drive a Ford? Jump ships to a Dodge. Go across the sea to the Foreign trucks?

 

Personally, I'd probably drive a Ram. A shortbed standard cab Ram 4x4 isn't a bad ride. An F150 would be okay, but it would have to be a new motor. The 5.4 was weak! Foreign? I'd rather walk. Toyota can't build a full-size and the Titan is a dinosaur.

 

What do yall think? Let's hear it all!

I've owned several Nissan trucks. They were great trucks except for the 2007 Titan. It had great power but wasn't a great truck. Otherwise, I've stuck with GM.

It'd be a tough choice. The rams are ok. Certain configurations just look batshit ugly, and others look fantastic.

 

I'd probably have a Power Wagon, because that's the other truck I was looking at when I was truck shopping.

Personally I'd go with an F-150...I honestly think they produce a good truck

Since my next truck is going to be a 3/4 or 1 ton..... I'd have to say I'd go to a F350 if I couldn't go to a GM 2500HD. I love the SYNC technology that fully integrate everything into the vehicle systems among other things, and the styling of the exterior of the 350's. I've never been a fan of the interiors of the Dodges or the Fords however, I guess I'll have to adapt.

ive had a dodge and a ford. hated the ram hemi. loved the fx4. if i couldnt have my sierra i would get the new 2011 f150 with their new 6.2 motor! my dad just got a 2010 king ranch 4x4 f150 last year. sweet ass truck

I would go with a 2011 ford raptor. They come in the full crew cab now and have a 6.2L. I love the prerunner/baja look and the ultra wide from end. If you see one in persone they are a sick truck. I had a 98 f150 i liked it just had a bad braking system.

I like a lot of your choices. Especially the Powerwagon. Here's a question, next time you all decide to buy, is a GM the only option or are you going to go drive everything? Personally, I will probably stick with GM. Every GM truck I've ever owned has been excellent. That's not to say the others don't make good trucks (Excluding Toyota, the Tundra is awful), I just trust GM a lot more.
