Ford Flex

Well I went to Mexico for 9 days and needless to say someone had there way with my door lock, they didn't get anything even though there were items a cracker could sell inside, the door needed fixing so I took it to a bodyshop and they gave me a Ford Flex for the day.

 

I was impressed, it was a nice ride for what it is. Optioned well, ergonomics were very good inside the vehicle, power was pretty good. But hey anything is better than a corrolla I guess (which is what they where going to give me at first) I almost want to say I wish I could keep it, but it's still not a truck.

I thought these things were ugly as a Honda Pilot when they came out, but I take it back, I don't know why but I just plain ol' like it! Too bad they are so expensive.

 

Anyways.... let the flaming begin.

That Tahoe is a FAR better vehicle all around. Better cargo capacity, better towing, just as efficient, proper RWD, proper V8, proper off-road capability, etc, etc, etc.

I don't think folks buy a Flex, with intentions of going off roading!!

 

I think its a neat ride. Ford has some great vehicles out. And, although it might not be a GM, at least its not a nissian or toyoda!

The flex is a pretty nice vehicle. Has some nice features, and I'm surprised with the power it makes. It has great 0-60 times.

1. I'm not a "hater"...I just dislike the current mediocre offerings we get from Ford here in the U.S.

 

2. When I was looking for information about the GMT-800 I was looking to buy, my current car was a 2001 Ford Crown Vic.

They may not...but with the Tahoe....you have that option...with no penalty. The Flex can hardly handle a gravel road.

 

at least its not a Nissan or Toyota!

 

Any of Ford's current crop of appliances they sell here could very well be a Toyota. They are equally bland/boring inside and out.

A Tahoe is not a Flex.

 

I just wanted to say I got to drive one, and I liked it. It was a cool change from a pick-up and I was impressed.

 

Nice to see there are a few others here who share an open mind.

 

Pfff Tahoe....

 

 

EDIT: Obviously the flex is a city vehicle. I would and did drive it as one. The GMC is for the dirt and gravel and its a 2wd!
