ChevyTech77 Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Maybe some of you have seen this but it's got to be one of the biggest "DOH!" vid's that I've seen in a while. Sounds like he sets the parking brake just as he "attempts" to do the burnout. I laughed until I had tears in my eyes when I first watched it. Enjoy. Epic fail...
burnthefurniture Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Thats not the first time I've seen that video, and it hurts me just as much every time I watch it. Good grief...surely he must have known something was wrong...maybe not. Is it just me or does that look like an auto repair shop in the background? I hope that wasn't a "joyride" in a customer vehicle, haha, that would mean the end of someone if so!

I hope that wasn't a "joyride" in a customer vehicle, haha, that would mean the end of someone if so! A) Obviously he did not know, he's just that big of an idiot. B) That was an auto repair facility. Poor placement for a stunt like that trust me, I agree. PS, my first love is Corvettes so yes, while painfull for me to watch it WAS still funny.
renegadeking Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 definitely painful to watch, but this reminded me of this EPIC burn out fail. but don't worry it is a dodge so it is so much funnier to watch
Badbird2000 Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Revoke his man-card... can't do a burnout in a manual Corvette???
tanked_darren Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 As with most videos on the internet, maybe his clutch was already packing it in? Some people fake things to get hits.
KMGZ400 Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Revoke his man-card... can't do a burnout in a manual Corvette??? agreed. doing a burnout in a manual 500hp+ rwd car is like speaking english.
ChevyTech77 Posted December 2, 2010 Author Posted December 2, 2010 As with most videos on the internet, maybe his clutch was already packing it in? Some people fake things to get hits. People make videos like 2G1C for hits. I'm not so sure that someone would purposely cause themselves thousands of dollars in damage to a $70g Vette, just for hits. I could be wrong though........
kdixer Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 I cannot believe nobody stopped him when the wheels were not spinning. Too much $$$ + not enough common sense = internet video with major WOW factor
[email protected] Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Yep, seen that before. That clutch put out a hell of a smoke show.
Pumper Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 definitely painful to watch, but this reminded me of this EPIC burn out fail. but don't worry it is a dodge so it is so much funnier to watch This is one of the funniest things that I have ever seen. I love the camera guy..."Oh F***, that's not f***ing good." Priceless. As for the idiot with the Vette, how dumb do you have to be to not realize that the tires aren't spinning? I really like how nobody tells him until he gets out of the car.
ChevyTech77 Posted December 2, 2010 Author Posted December 2, 2010 Yep, seen that before. That clutch put out a hell of a smoke show. I'm suprised it didn't light on fire. Doesn't sound good when they zoom in on the back of the engine at the end of the video though. As for the idiot with the Vette, how dumb do you have to be to not realize that the tires aren't spinning? I really like how nobody tells him until he gets out of the car. Actually, somebody does say "stop" but obviously not loud enough. I'd have been beating the idiot senseless through the open driver's window if I'd have been standing there.
