6.2l And Disc Brakes

Do you automatically get the disc brakes with the 6.2L regardless if it with the NHT or Z71??? I know in the sales marketing for the NHT is specifically states disc brakes, but I was curious about the Z-71 and 6.2...Nothing is really stated anywhere. I thought I read on here at one time that discs are on all 6.2l trucks, but I wanted to confirm. Thanks

Yes,You get rear discs,You also get the bigger 14-bolt 9.5" rear axle.

Carmichaels is about 50 miles South of Pittsburgh,In Greene County.

Just to confirm YES. I have a Z71 with rear discs.

Thanks Ryan.... and YES I am FINALLY getting around to ordering my truck, just found out we have another baby on the way and the extended cab is getting small with just my 2 1/2 year old ... So its time to pull the trigger and order her up.. Although I hate to get rid of my 02, I love that thing

You'll love the new one, but miss the 02. I still have a soft spot for GMT800 trucks, but couldn't go back to an ext cab.

The thing I think I will miss the most are the seats in 800's.. They have to be the most comfortable seats they ever put into a truck...They are awesome for long trips...The other thing I will really miss is the mechanical throttle linkage...My wifes Trailblazer has the DBW and i really dont like it at all.

Honestly I dont even think about my 2000 anymore. I miss a few minor features (cargo light) but the 2010 is far superior
