New Guy From Michigan

Hi all,

New guy from Brighton, Michigan. 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE Z71 4wd, etc. Enough acronyms to be a military vehicle. Really nice truck though.

 

Traded my G8GT straight up for this truck. Just couldn't take another winter in the G8, lol.

 

I kind of stumbled upon this site while looking for truck parts. Some jackhole at Home Depot slammed my driver side rear corner hard enough to fold the bumper into the bed, ruining the bumper and the bed panel on that side. Didn't feel obliged to leave a note either. Considering putting offroad death bumpers on just to spite the next person that bumps it.

 

Anyhow, this seemed like a cool, pretty respectful site with lots of good info, so I figured I'd register and hang out a while.

 

BTW OEm body parts are freakin expensive!

Hello & welcome. The truck parts may be expensive but there are more options and better availability than the G8 parts.
