Quick Question Before Install

I am trying to find time to throw the 1.5" Zone BL on and believe within the next couple of weeks I can do so. One question, will I have any issues keeping the Airaid MIT tube? The stock intake was flexible at the box, the Airaid is not. You guys with the BL installed, did you have any trouble?

Great, I'm tuned for the Airaid tube. If it won't work the BL will be staying off, I'm not jacking around with a re-tune. Anyone with the 1.5" have issues?

I searched more and found this post, Matt it is actually the sale of your MIT tube. 07blackz71 claims his fit with adjustment in the thread. Problem is he sold that truck and I haven't seen him around in awhile.

I don't see why, with a little fiddling and fab work, it wouldn't work with 1.5". At the most you might have to fab a flex joint of some sort in but it should still work.

You could also go outside and just lift the top of the air box up 1.5" to see if it'll work.

My volant works fine with my 3". Just needed some tweaking.

No pics yet. Weather has been crap up here for weeks now, so when I get it cleaned up I'll get some up.

 

As for the Airaid, I think it fits better now than it did prior to the BL.
