Major Electrical Problem.

Okay, I have a 2001 s10 2wd automatic with the 4.3 vortec v6.

I go to turn the key and all I get are the lights. I tested the starter and the starter solenoid twice at autozone and they tested good. Tested the battery and that was bad, so I got a new one and that didn't help. I tested the fuses in the fuse box and the starter relay and they were good. I was starting to get desperate so I replaced the ignition switch and that still didn't fix anything. I only found 1 out of the 3 fusible links, which was below the battery box. That link was good. There is no security light on. When I put the neutral safety switch in I had to maneuver it to get it in. I put it on in park. Will that make a difference if the transmission wasn't in neutral when I put it in? I need help. Does anybody have any idea? I was able to by pass everything and tapped into the red (positive hot wire) and ran a starter switch into the cab. I am able to start it by turning the key and pressing the button. PLEASE. can anybody help me figure this out?
