Got The 2500 Home, Now A Few Q's For The Experts..

Well we made the 950 mile trip back to CO from TX and the 06 CCSB with the LBZ performed pretty well. We even managed to pull 18mpgs along the way! I have so far found the few items which were tucked away since delivery (block heater cord, spare tire jack and such) but I have a couple items I need help with. I have come to find the customery controls light problems and revived a few by flicking on them with my finger.. With the speakers, they seem very fragile and basically suck, this too seems common or is it actually the stereo that is an issue? Also, does this thing have an under hood light? I know the other two GM's I have do, but do not recall seeing one when searcing, luckily I have not needed it... Pics coming soon.

Thanks gang, --Mike

the factory speakers may have started to go, speakers are cheap man, 50 bucks and your in buisness. you can add an under the hood light if you so chose, or get a nice little flash light and bam, problem solved. all in all sounds like a nice truck though. cant go wrong with the LBZ.

Thanks guys, I was even thinking a nice Mag Light under the hood would be cool, like what I added with two spring type clamps in the saddle bags of the Ave.

Looks like I am off to the local Ultimate Electronics - going out of business sale to shop speakers.

I love the power of the LBZ and my son who thought a diesel should make noise is a little jealous....
