Dl3 Mirrors And Switch Assembly For Sale

I bought these before investigating the hook up procedure. Since I can not find a definitive statement saying that they will work as plug and play, rather than tearing the truck apart just to find out that they may need programmed, I'm listing them for sale. I have no faith in my dealer or their abilities. These are a bluish gray, not a storm gray. They need a good cleaning but are in great shape. They are from a 2008 Silverado and come with the switch and bezel from the truck they were removed from so you would not have to buy a switch seperately. I was told they worked before they were removed and replaced with tow mirrors but I have not attempted to mount them on my truck. I'm thinking they will fit from 2007-2011, either Sierra or Silverado, but I really don't know. I'm not sure if they will be plug and play or if the truck will need programmed, do a search and you still may not find the answer to that question, I couldn't. If I knew for sure I would maybe paint and keep them for my truck. I will ship, insure and provide tracking for a total of $225.00. Hopefully the picture thing will work, if not, I'll try again tomorrow.

I just went out and compared my current switch assembly with the switch that came with the mirrors. It is about 2 inches longer than my Sierra switch assembly. Unless the Silverado has a diferrent armrest, it might me from something else. I really don't know what vehicle might have the longer bezel, maybe you do.

I offered it to the first person that inquired about it. If he does not want it I'll offer it to the next person.

I'm asking $35.00 shipped for the switch. and $200.00 for the mirrors shipped.

Someone asked what the DL3 means. It means that the mirrors have the turn signals built into them and will flash with the turn signals or emergency flashers. It also means that they will fold away electrically at the push of a button and return to normal position at the push of a button. The turn signals should be plug and play if you already have power heated mirrors, but I've never figured out what needs to be done to make the power fold work as everyone seems to have a diferent opinion. A new switch is probably needed and it may also need programmed.
