Hey all,

One of the first things I wanted to do to the truck was add a hard tonneau to make the bed (somewhat) secure as most weeks I am on the road so when I return to the airport if I have to run errands I've been having to keep my toolkit in the cab, which I hate. 60 pound unsecured brick=missile in an accident.

 

So I sent RT.com a PM though here late Thursday night just wanting to confirm some details on my options and Josh wrote back first thing the next morning with my answers. I called him at 11:00 Friday morning to place the order and much to my surprise when I ran the FedEx tracking number this morning it was showing as out for delivery! It was delivered just before 3 this afternoon. 28 hours from the time I dialed the number to when FedEx had it here!

 

Josh was great to work with and though the number I called initially was a company-wide number, something very, very special happened- My call was answered by a human, not a computer. Little things like that are absolutely huge to me. I cannot recommend enough that anyone looking for truck goodies give them a call.

 

The Extang Solid Fold seems to be a great unit. I installed it myself (I would recommend that anyone who buys one grabs a helper though as it would've made life easier for me) in under 30 mins. Looks nice though the tailgate is a bit stiff to open because of the weatherstrip, I'm sure it will compress a bit over time though.
