Iphone4 And Facebook

Ok please only post if you can help, no facebook this or that comments (will be deleted this is a fair warning).

 

I just got an iphone4 ( I feel like i am in the 21st century now 1st smart phone for me). I love it.

 

Problem is I click on the facebook app. It starts to load you can see the page then poof its gone and I am back to the main page on the phone

 

WTF is going on? I dont have this issue on my ipod (wireless internet)

Are you using Verzion Wireless..I know their 4G network crashed yesterday and only about 45% is back up going today and it still has programing errors that they are working on.

Everything else works fine (app wise), email, weather, internet, etc.

Take it back to the store you got it and ask for there help. Whenever i have a problem with my Droid, the first place i go is the verizon store. They are there to help.

When mine does this I hit the home button then double tap the home button this will bring up your active programs then hold your finger on the face book app the one in the bottom menu that pops up do this untill you see red x then hit the x now try and run Facebook again

 

Just make sure you close the running app and not delete Facebook

Deleted and reinstalled all works now

Another thing that happens is when you have your phone on a few days, it will get "junked up" with the memory and will run slow, and/or won't load apps altogether like you were saying. If that happens, hold down the top "power" button and the home button for about 6 seconds (the swipe to turn-off thing will show up, but still hold the 2 buttons down). When the screen goes black, just turn it back on, let it boot, and all should be fine for a few more days. Again, this is just if you're noticing the apps running slow, not at all, etc.

I don't have one, but heard others having trouble also a few days ago. The problem was with Facebook as I understand, and it is now fixed.
