Alignment Data After 2" Rc Level Kit And 3" Rear Blocks

Here is the info from my alignment today. I could definietly tell it needed one and boy after the alignment it drives so much better (I didnt think it drove all that bad but wow what a difference).

 

Front only data (rear didnt change much at all)

 

BEFORE

 

Left Front: -.1

Caster: 2.2

Toe: .41

 

Right Front: -.2

Caster: 1.6

Toe: .43

 

Total Toe: .84

Steer Ahead: -.01

 

 

AFTER

 

Left Front: 0

Caster: 3.2

Toe: .05

 

Right Front: 0

Caster: 3

Toe: .05

 

Total Toe: .10

Steer Ahead: 0

It's amazing how much a good alignment will make vehicles handle better. You wouldn't think that such a minor adjustment would have such an effect on driveability, but it does.

 

I've found that Commanders are even more sensitive to these types of leveling kits. It's very common for people to post on the forums that their vehicle drives like complete crap or that they think somethings wrong.... I tell them to get an alignment and a day later they post up how much better it is and feels like stock again :cool:

Mine was attached to the work order.

 

I must say at a complete stop and the initial acceleration felt like there was a slight bind and growl through 1st gear. I could definitely tell it was an alignment issue. It is gone now and drives smooth again :cool:
