2009 Silverado Reverse Wire Location

Anyone know an easy place to get to the reverse + wire? I would prefer behind the radio since that is where I have the lead from the backup camera but could do under the drivers side dash pretty easily as well.

 

I did a seach and the only clue I got was a brown wire at the BCM. Havent tried looking for it yet so any tips would be helpful.

On my '10 Sierra, the reverse wire is a light green wire in the wiring harness for the trailer connector wiring. That's the wire I used for my lightbar. I don't know of a "reverse" wire behind the radio. The trailer wiring harness at the back of the truck will have a label around the wires with the wire colors.

Thanks for the info. But, like I said, I need it under the dash. I ran the wire from the tail to the inside through a protective tube. Getting it out is not so easy.

This is where i picked it up from. Its behind the cover at your left foot.

Awesome! Thanks smooney! I know exactly where that is since I had to drill around it when running the main + line for the amp.
