You are gonna be one happy man! Make sure you get a tune update for that blower.

Will do. The kit comes with a handheld however the shop that is installing the kit is going to do a dyno tune.

Well it is going to be another several days. I got a call from the shop today that is doing the install. I guess when he was filling the intercooler there was a crack in the heat exchanger so it was dumping the fluid out. So monday he will have to get in contact with whipple and have them overnight another one to him. Hopefully tuesday will be the day!!!!

Well the leak is all fixed. We are now waiting on the updated tune from whippple and superchips. Should have it tomorrow if all goes well!!!

Well I got her back today and all I can say is WOW. She still needs to go back in because the bypass valve is stuck open a little and needs to be replaced so I am currently only getting 5lbs of boost producing 390 rwhp and 386 ft lbs of torque. WIth the stock pully it should be making 8lbs f boost. I have an appt to get that fixed on saturday as whipple has already sent a new one out.

Not understanding... your HP number looks great... but how come the TQ number is so low in comparison

I may have read it wrong. I only looked at the screen. He had several dyno runs up and I could have looked at the wrong one. He has not sent me the dyno numbers in an email yet. I will make sure I get better numbers on saturday. It will get more power once we fix the boost issue. It is also a very conservative tune. I am going to do some data loging and have blackbear retune it.

Like I don't already have a problem keeping my damn size 13 out of the pedal on my 6.2 and then guys like this give me that teaser of an idea, like a 8 ball of coke to a recovering coke addict, and now here I am wondering how I can make this happen on mine. Thanks.:thumbs:

I have to say though, two major quality problems right out of the box from Whipple. Kind of making me second guess things about that company. :help:

Thought the same thing.

I am thinking that the heat exchanger was a shipping issue after talking with my guy who installed it. He said the packing around the heat exchanger mounting brachet was not very good and the other items may have shifted and crached the weld. The bypass valve he said everyonce it a while he sees one that does not work properly. He said he had not has the issue on the whipple kit but did have it on a maggie kit before.

I had more time today to drive it back and forth to work and I played with it quite a bit. Hammering the gas as often as I could and I can tell you that with the base tune it really like gas. I am talking like 9.5 mpg's worth in the city (light to light). I am going to do some data loging after i get it back on saturday and see if the tune can be leaned out a little to get a little better gas mileage. Under normal driving if I keep it from going to far over 2000 rpm I was seeing about 12.5 in the city.

If I may ask, how much did that set you back, out the door? I can't find pricing.
