I had heard some stories about the service of whipple but I can tell you that they have been great with me. I had a tech question that I emailed them last night and had emails first thing this morning. If I were to do it all over again I would stick with whipple.

so its a very poor quality video but.... ive watched many videos of supercharged trucks and to me it just doesnt seem worth all that money,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T18MR9VpARI

idk.... his truck doesnt seem enough faster to spend 8 grand or however much...

dont get me wrong... its sweet but....

also i dont know why theirs no sound.... theirs sound when i play it on quicktime but not on youtube

Part of it depends on the set up behind the motor. I have seen videos of some trucks that seem to have a better 0-60 times than mine does. A truck with 3.73's will be faster 0-60 than the same truck equipt with 3.42's. I currently have 3.42 so it seems like my 0-60 time are not where I have seen others but I can tell you my mid range is awsome. My 30-90 seems fast as hell now. I am also running heavy 22's so again the same truck running 17's or 18's is going to have quicker times. There are so many factors. I can say that I am very happy with the results I have acheived and there is so much more potential that can be pulled out of it will smaller investments now. (ie smaller pulley)

You are running too rich on the WOT A/F ratio, you should be @ 13.5:1. You woul also pickup a few horsepower.

Nice numbers though.

I got my stpwatch on your truck at 7.39sec for 0-60. That seems pretty quick for a 6k pound truck. Anyone know what it would run stock?

Also very interested in the outcome. Forgive my ignorance, but this is a Denali, so it is a 6.2 right? Is it also AWD? Was the dyno run done on a 4 wheel dyno, and the truck was in AWD for the run? Isn't that something like 20% parasite loss?

it is the 6.2l they do make an awd model of the denali however i have the 2wd. i cannot wait to get her back and see the gains

That is the 6.2L and it only has 315 RWHP? Doesn't the 6.2L make over 400HP. It makes me wonder how much HP a Stock 6.2L AWD makes to the curb?

The 402 HP rating of the 6.2L is AT THE CRANK, on an engine dyno. There is at least a 20% parasitic loss (402x.20=80) to the rear wheels due to the automatic drive train. This would reduce it to 322 RWHP.

Hows the blower working out for you. IM planning to do it on my escalade

I am loving every minute of it. I am getting the itch at this point to start trying to get more out of it now.

That graph was when the shop installed it. Shortly after I got it installed I did some data logging and sent it off to Justin at blackbear to make some tweaks on the tune, which he did and it seemed to pick up a little more power.

are you using the stock pulley? how many pounds did you get out of it.

Yea I am running the stock pulley getting about 5.5lbs of boost. I am starting to look into a pullyswap to get me to around 8 lbs of boost. The truck is a beast.

yeah since i have stock manifolds on mine im prob going to do the 3.5 pulley which should do 8-9 psi. You running long tubes correct with a 3.5 inch cat back. So that right there will drop about 1 psi

No headers on mine just stock manifolds. Only thing I did to the exhaust was a muffler swap and resonator delete to a flowmaster with dual 3 inch pipes. I considered headers but for the price I decided againts them. I may step down to a 3.375 pulley but I am afraid the parts might start to let go as I have to stock driver shaft and not transmission upgrades. I think I can keep the transmission safe with a good tune on it but the drive shaft is what worries me most as I have heard some horror stories.

yeah i have a escalade but doing a complete build. getting some times before the blower then times after the blower.

SO wait the stock pulley is 3.625 and your only seeing 5.5 psi boost??? yeah I have a magnaflow 3.5 inch in/out with a turn down on my truck and felt a nice difference check it out

they have a 3.5 which would prob be 6.5 then the 3.325 which would be 9psi. Ill prob do that 3.325 pulley also im doing a custom tank set up for the hx system as I did in my tbss.

One thing for sure the escalade is getting 3.73 gears next week so I think that the truck should run 14.20-14.30 with intake/tune/muffler and blower shoudl put me down into low 13s
