Installing A Whipple

Yea stock pulley is 3.625. Kit is designed for about 6lbs of boost but I think all of whipples testing was on a 5.3L and thats why there were getting 6lbs of boost. I was told for every 1/8th in pulley size should be about 1lb of boost so going to a 3.375 would be about 7.5lbs of boost. I did not do a rear gear swap and I have not done any runs after the supercharger. I was running 15.49 in Vegas with intake, muffle swap and a tune with 22 inch rims before the charger. I was also told the the Vegas track is about a 1/2 second slower than most tracks. So I am guessing that I am probably in the low to mid 14's at our track here with my 3.42's and the 22's.

Did the maggy come with new injectors? I put the Edelbrock E-Force on my 2011 Sierra L9H.Similar numbers to your base line,i had 311 rwhp. After the E-Force 422rwhp. Ran 13.07 at 105 with a 1.8 60ft. The E-Force didn't come with new injectors and i'm maxing out the stock ones.Ordered a set of 60lb injectors today.Should be able to crack the 12's with a pulley change.

My whipple kit used the same injectors. I was told that I am close to maxing out my stock injectors and that if I put a smaller pulley on I will have to get new injectors. What injectors are you going with and I need ideas as to what I will need to get when I get the smaller pulley.

Just read your whole thread, Nice Work! I have wanted to do this ever since I brought my 09 home, just couldn't justify the cost. I was quoted 10k installed just for the charger, add exhaust and blah blah blah = divorce. So I left it stock! Thought about doing the install myself but wasn't sure if it wold void the warranty. I am regreting it now. Did you change any tranny components (torque converter) or just added the tune?

10k is a lot for the parts and install of a supercharger and exhaust. I had mine installed and dyno tuned for a little over 7k. I had my exhaust done prior. I did not do any transmission upgrades. I just had it tuned with torque management to keep the stock transmission together. I am starting to experience a harder jerk when I put it in gear and I am not sure if it is normal or if I am developing transmission or dirve shaft issues.
