Odd Question.

Hello, I know this is a stupid question but is it possible to order a truck with the packages and trim that I want? I kinda have what I want planned out but everywhere I look on the internet there seems to be one or two things missing on the truck I find (I'm sort of a picky person haha). So I was wondering is this possible? I'm wanting a black Silverado 1500 LTZ 6.2L Vortec 4x4 (can't decide whether I want 3.42 or 3.73 gear ratio). Anyways, please get back to me on this. Thank you!

I was able to build it on the Chevrolet webstite. (I choose LTZ trim level and excab shortbed 4x4, but I have no idea if that makes any difference.) To me it seems the 3.08 gear is standard and the 3.42 is the option. No option for 3.73.

I tried that and built a truck on there but after that it had a price and I couldn't do anything else. I can't do it on my phone either which sucks because I won't be on my laptop because I left it in Montana. And ian't the 3.73 in the Max Trailering Package? I don't know if there is much of a difference between the two, is there?

ok the max trailer pkg gives you the 6.2L, 3.73 gears, rear locker etc... It says standard bed only and not available with Z71.

If you don't get the max tow package the 6.2L can be bought but the standard gear is 3.08 and the option is 3.42 (no 3.73)

Yes you can, I ordered my truck

 

There are 3 pkgs you can get the 6.2 with,

 

Z71 6.2 with 3.42's

 

NHT 6.2 with 3.73's

 

G60 6.2 with I dont know what rear end.
