Engine Compartment Cleaning

fixing to start cleaning my engine compartment and i would like to know if there's anything besides the CAI filter i should cover up. is there anything i should protect from water and what is it?

Alternator are good thing to cover as well. And the engine as a whole if you don't wanna end up replacing your knock sensors, that is if they haven't been fixed properly before.

all by hand no spraying water into the engine bay. To much electrical stuff in there to be doing that. You will never get everything dry and things will corrode/rust. Take your time and wipe it down by hand
