Does anyone know if the GM Performance Parts #17800809 for a 2007 or 2008 silverado will fit the 2011 silverado 1500? This is the cold air intake with the new airbox and tube with dry air filter. I do not know if they changed the airbox but the filters are the same.

Not to rain on your parade, but I bought one for my 2006 GMC Sierra 1500. It was noisy and not worth the $$.

I don't think it will work. My dad has one on his 08 and the MAF sensor is different between the model years. It won't mount properly with that intake.

No, it won't fit. The MAF sensor is built into the tube. I had one and liked it but wouldn't work on the new truck
