Is anyone running a cold air induction kit on a new 6.2L. Just wondering real world if anyone noticed a difference in horsepower or mpg.

I have run one on every truck, and never noticed anything but an increase in intake noise. I do like the colder air and not ever having to replace the filter though.

All of the horsepower/torque gains are WAY up in the rpm range - unless you drive around town with your foot on the floor, don't waste your $$$, spend it on a custom tune

get a 100$ intake tube and replace the filter with a K/N and get a BB tune you wont be sorry

The factory airbox is already a cold air intake. Hell most of the aftermarket stuff pulls hot air from the engine bay. :) I wasted the money for the intake on my '03, I plan on leaving the stock stuff in place on this one.

I have had one on my 08 f150 Lariet, 10' Tundra w/5.7 and now my 11' Silverado w/6.2 and had more of a gain from my Tundra than any of the 3 but the one I have now does help with trottle response for better tire spin and like said before higher down the rpm range giving me better top end speed IMO, not near as loud os one on the Tundra which is good.

Intake and exhaust mod gains are so minimal on this engine, from what I've seen, that I'd say save your money, get a custom tune and go from there.
