 Well i sold my 07, it was starting to give me a lot of troubles. So I traded it in on a 2011 Subaru STi. Don't regret it one bit! I'll be picking up a beater 2000ish truck in the spring to haul the trailer and bikes.

Well here's the new rig! 305HP 290 torque 3250 lbs. Can't beat that for fun!

They are nice cars, congtats. My friend bought one (same color) over summer. Have fun with it and I hope you plan on modding it

also what kind of issues were you getting from your truck

I was starting to have electrical gremlins, the radio would die, right side speakers cut in and out. Then there would be no lights, no gauges all electrical in the cab was down, blinkers only stayed solid and the headlights didn't work. Had another rear spring break on me, another front ball joint go. all with 88 kms...so it was time to say bye bye and get back into a new car.

Subaru builds good vehicles based on my experience. I've had four Chevy trucks and my wife has had five Subaru cars. Back in the day GM owned 25% of Fuji Heavy Industries (Subaru) but sold it to Toyota a couple of years back. I can only hope they don't make a Subota out of a great product. AWD, power if you want it in turbo trim, great gas mileage. etc. Aside from some occasional head gasket problems on the 2.5 4 cyl they give very few problems. I hate to see you leave Chevy trucks, but if it works best in your situation you have to do what works. I don't think you'll be disappointed with the quality of Subaru. Best of luck with the new car, and maybe the beater truck can turn into a project as well.

Good luck.

Thanks! I think I'll find a step side reg cab z71 as a hauler/toy truck for the spring. Something i can fix and not worry too much about.

Did the same thing back in April when I got rid of my 2009 GMC. I picked up a WRX premium and it was awesome! However, I missed having a truck too much, so I picked up a new 2011 Chevy!! WRX's are badass cars, lots of power, decent room, and actually decent gas mileage.

Great purchase man! I had a WRX before my truck and I do miss having it but I also love my truck. The new STi's are freaking sweet and im sure you'll enjoy having it. That WRX was also one of the most reliable vehicles I have ever owned. Just make sure when you replace the tranny fluid you only put in subaru's Extra-S tranny fluid. Other brands can give you grinding problems.
