I have a 2009 Silverado Z71 with 18" factory wheels, I just got my 2 inch leveling kit. Can I put 285/65/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers on the factory wheels with the 2 inch leveling kit.

 

I will not do anything to the rear end, I am having a hard time finding if this will work. The dealer says, I have to have a 4" kit to put 285/65/18 on it?

 

If I cannot put 285's on it, will 275's work then?

 

Any help/advice would be great as I am ready to put the kit on and get the new tires. I only have 17,000 miles on the truck, I want 10 ply tires as I live in a rural area in NWA Arkansas.

* My truck has the TPS on it, would 17" factory wheels off a Silverado bolt on and work with the TPS or does it have to be programmed.

 

I would like to trade my factory 18" cast aluminum Z71 wheels for a set of 17" factory 4x4 wheels (aluminum). If anyone is near Arkansas?

ercwrestler your truck looks very nice love the tires thats what im gonna run when i get ready. arz71 you should start a new topic. the tps will have to be reprogramed and 285 vs 275 not sure on that one i belevie the 285 etc is the width of the tire and i beleive the trouble lies in the height of the tire.
