I went shopping for a set of wipers today and got a little eye opener. Did the price go up or an I just behind the times. For these wipers that have the god awful attachements to connect various styles to various vehicles, the price is rediculous. You don't even get a pair, for $15-$25, you get just 1.

I just couldn't bring my self to buy the various brands that are god awful ugly with the big clip on brackets. So I got online and ordered myself a set for 1/3rd less than what I could find in the stores and they are Acdelco OEM style.

Now I'm happy....

Just sayin... the price is rediculous for wipers. Wow!

Yup there expensive. I paid $15ish for each blade a couple years ago. Glad they held out. Don't look forward to buying again. I even had a discount...crazy.

Simple solution...no windshield wipers FTW

Lol how's that working for ya?

Must be another case of paying through the nose because they know people have to have them...

No wipers? Speed up lol. Faulty switch in the old 944 causes me to pull the fuse to shut em off. Turns out you usually don't want to get out in the rain to put it in.

Thats why you have to wait for a deal... I always wait for the bosch icon's to go on sale, and then get a coupon. My sister just bought a set yesterday from advance auto parts . It was $10 off a set, and she had a coupon for 10% off. And they installed them for her for free!

When I lived in Arizona in the 80's I carried my in the trunk of my Chevelle, when I saw the rain coming I got them out and put them on, only got wet once or twice in the 3 years I did that. A buddy of mine had 4 sets in the same time so I saved some money!! So I could put more gas in the ole hot rod!! :jester:

I spent $34 online for OEM replacements. Still feel like I was raped but at least I won't have the giant adapters attached.

Pretty good actually, I just slap em on if it starts to sprinkle then pull over and take them off when it stops raining.

I haven't done it in a while but I used to wax my windshield, whenever I was doing at least 60 MPH I didn't need wipers. The water would slide off as soon as it hit the windshield

Where did you get them at?

Bought the kids replacement wipers for Christmas. $60 for F/R on son's '07 'Hoe; $20 for daughter's '08 Mustang. And they call me, "Scrooge"!
