Meguiars Quik Detailer

Is it a good product, safe to use on my car? I have recently started using it, but have noticed a sort of splotchy look around my car. Is that caused from this product do you think, or is it just road dust that is VERY hard to get off? Thanks

I've used it without many real problems. Have used Mother's Showtime too but I like Meguiar's better. Mother's seems harder for me to get off before it dries and then it winds up making a bigger mess then the one I'm trying to clean up. Most of the time all I'm doing is trying to remove... ummm bird residue. For the dust I use a California Duster.

Perhaps your letting the detailer dry too much, I don't waste time removing it. Or perhaps, looking at the picture of your rig, your paint is still too hot? I dunno but hope it helps a little.

I use it as well with no real problems. If I overspray with protectant or such it works great, you will run into problems if you get dirt on your paint and try to use it to wipe it off regularly. Other than that it should work well.

I use it a bit. Carry a bottle of it with some towels in the back of the Blazer. No problems to report and I've been using it since I saw it on Autozone's shelves about a year ago. Works great on bird doodoo.

Well the truth is i do (or should i say did) use it religiously. If i noticed as much as a spec of dirt/dust on my car, i would use it and wipe it off immediately. Still, i notice all kinds of splotchy crap all over the paint. How do i get rid of these splotches?

P.S. What do you guys do to keep your car streak free? Black shows streaks like none other. I just cant get rid of them! Thx.
