How much different is these systems are from the part#140300 cat-back systems for the L92 engines? Is part#140300 touring or s-type.? Will these two new one fit the L92 engines?

Awesome sounding. I think this is better than Corsa due to the 3.5" front pipe. Sounds like a vette too.

Thanks for your excitement, interest & feedback, please find the answers to your questions below:

What size pipes into and out of the systems?

Both exhaust systems start as a single 3.5" pipe attaching after your factory catalytic converter, then splits into dual 2.25" pipes.

Our p# 140300 has only been tested to fit 2008 and 2009 trucks, incorporates a different front pipe, and this exhaust sounds in between the Touring/S-Type, leaning closer to S-Type if I had to pick one over the other. It is more aggressive than the factory exhaust and the p#140420, but still not quite as loud as our new p#140437.

Is this ONLY available in dual exits?

Chris, yes these systems are only available as dual-exit, underneath the bumper.

What is the pipe size on the single rear exit part #140425? Is there any meaningful HP gain?

Kriggans, would the S-type be too loud with headers and high-flow cats?

I know every location is different with emission testing & of course tuning. But I put headers, high flow cats & larger Y-pipe on a 01 Trans Am & the only place that ever seemed like a waste of money was the high flow cats. Should have just stuck a pipe in their place, the O2 sensors were always irritated with them anyway.

Oh & to the guys at Borla, thank you for making me want a 6.2 even more...

Sound is so very subjective- what's too loud for one person isn't nearly loud enough for another. There's no simple yes-or-no answer to your question, but it would be aggressive sounding, that's for sure!

Our part# 140425 uses a single 3.5" pipe. You're looking at 7-10 hp and torque gains over the factory exhaust.

Ok, thanks for the info!

Interesting, you seem to be the only ones who are making a single catback for the 6.2 in 3.5" pipe to match the factory size. Even Corsa only uses 3" pipe. Thanks for the info.
