Gas prices

The gas prices around here have gone up 14 cents a gallon in the last 10 days.  I know there is some unrest in Venezuala and the threat of war and the holiday travel.  But when/if all this stuff comes true, then I think I'll be riding one of my Honda 70's to work!!!  LOL!!!  At this rate $1.75/gallon is probably not out of the picture.

 

We went form $1.25 to $1.39 ...

It's been about 1.39 here for the past week.  Just dropped down to 1.36 yesterday.  Ran up to Wisconsin to buy a powerball ticket an hour ago and the stationt that I bought it from was at 1.49.

It's hard for me to believe the Feds can't indict the oil companies for price gouging.  For example, they say that we get 10% of our oil from Venezuala, and if they don't straighten out thier Gov't problems there that it could affect fuel prices.  So what happens is that fuel prices go up 15% in the next few days.  Heck, the oil we bought from them two weeks ago most likely hasn't even arrived here yet, let alone been refined.....

 

The darn gas stations around here all raise their prices on speculation.  Yet it takes forever for them to lower their prices when oil drops $5/barrel.

 

I guess we are lucky that we don't have to pay the $$$ that our Northern neighbors in Canada pay, or the people in Europe pay.

Jumped from $1.28 to ~ $1.40 around here (SE Mich).

 

Yep, we're actually pretty lucky w/ prices, compared to Europe!  

 

Actually, corrected for inflation, gasoline here in the states is actually a better deal (or at least as good) than it was in the early 1970's.

it jumped from $1.20 to $1.36 here in Alabama over the past 3 days. If we go to war, it will really go up!!!

Holding steady here at 1.339 per gal for 87

same price it has been for the past 4 months

It's went down up here....  went from $1.51 in Oct to $1.42 now.....

Man, you guys get the cheap gas.  Here, in AZ, the price has always been one of the nation's highest.  I'm not really sure what it is right now, somewhere around $1.50ish for  87 octane (which is the lowest octane we get).  IN the summer though, 87 can be around $1.90 a gallon!!!

ours is at $1.18 at the cheap places and $1.24 at the expensive places

Went up yesterday from 1.33.9 to 1.36.9 oh well thats only 3 cents

Mid $1.50's here now, up from upper $1.40's.

i am glad someone is paying attention!! Everyone here is Arkansas is driving around not saying a word about prices. Not long ag everyone was #####ing about it going over a dollar, now a dollar fifty is normal?

 

Is it a ploy from Honda to make us drive rice? lol//  Aint gonna happen!
