ics is a federal system if i remember right...and yes i am a state certified fireman

yes. it is the same in all states. I am ics 100/200/800 for Search and Rescue ops.

Actually, I replied to your question, "Are there no firefighters here?". Last I checked firefighters work in places other than the forest too.

To the op ics is federal level. National Incident Management System. Its the same for all.

I am a fire fighter / paramedic as noted before ICS is a federal standard training program for first responders in the us.

that and running into a blazing forest or a burning building while cops are watching and even some are in a drive through or at a donut shop..or when some **** decides to crash a plane into a tower who are the guys going in and taking immediate control of the situation? the firefighters..
