I haven't "broke them in" yet. I have been resisting and it hurts

But they are 275/55R20 Goodyear Eagle GT's. V rated and a load rating of 2800 lbs per tire

Whats in the cooler, that would not last 10 seconds on my porch. But I always got tires piled up so whats the deal? :jester:

I had to pull the cooler out of my truck. It was taking up space in the back seat. What do you mean what's the deal Jim? Are tires in the way of your front door?

Posted

Yes I keep tires by the door so the dogs got somewhere to go!!! :jester:

That's where I was going with my comment- a cooler of cold beverages on the porch? Impressive delivery

Like I said, I left it there because I needed it out of the truck. I am now a patron of Tire Rack. I am surprised at the $60 shipping and overnight standard delivery. Tire price wasn't bad either. $584 for all 4 before shipping.

I'm happy with Discount Tire Direct. Came to $185 a tire shipped I think, not to mention the ATP's are a DCT exclusive, I didn't have a choice. Second choice (and probably next set) will be ST Maxx. Didn't want to pay the extra, but I've been so happy with these I'd take the chance.

I think my next set will also be the ST Maxx.

Amsoil in the Nali yesterday.

Wheels going in for powdercoating for the Rado, lift kit is ready for install. Thinking Toyos or Nittos for it.

Sent from a jelly bean.

For what it's worth, I have had the Toyo's and currently have the Nitto's. I would recommend the Toyo's anyday, they rode smoother, performed better in wet/snow and the Nitto's seem to be wearing out a lot faster

I had Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 04 Tahoe and loved those things. They were a great all around tire and had a long life span. The current owner still has the second set on there! Justin likes the Trail Grapplers, but I think he is swaying towards the Toyos.

We had Toyo Proxes S/Ts on his old SS and they were great. We had Toyo Proxes S/T IIs on the TBSS and currently have them on the Nali. Great tires for a non rugged look. I think Justin is looking more for a rugged approach to his truck, which is totally opposite of how he normally is!

Got new cluster installed and programmed. The digital diaplay went out about 8 weeks after i took the time to replace all the stepper motors.
