Agreed....I was in Vegas for Christmas and although the 65 degrees in Dec was great.....way too many dang people and California would be even worse, think all my hobbies are illegal out there!

I can buy a warm coat to deal with the cold. Other than being a source for rust free classics I can't say CA is a good place to be a gear head and it sure isn't a place for a firearms enthusiast.

 

And not having to worry about Michigan falling into the lakes after an earthquake is comforting too.

Yeah...but I'm spoiled with having 7 acres, no neighbors and nobody telling me what I can/can't do in my yard(within reason of course).

20 acres and nobody to bother me I do donuts in my field for fun or to entertain the neighbors kids. I have a hard enough time dealing with the ridiculous traffic in Rochester hills when I see my boyfriend no way in hell I'd be able to stand Cali lol plus I have billions of backroads and two tracks to explore

I'm glad you like it, had my parents stayed in Detroit area when I was a kid and not moved I probably would have a similar opinion, well except for the starbucks part, I don't drink coffee so could care less about that
