In your area, not in the DC area lol. A decent house around here will run you in the 300's easy, closer to DC and Northern VA is like 500k+

Sounds alot like Eastern MA.

In some areas, that only gets you a townhouse. lol

careful with those aftermarket HMCSL (High Mounted Center Stop Light) Many of them do not have a good proper gasket on the back of them and the old gasket is non-transferable. I got one off of EBAY and sure enough the gasket is too thin and too small. I used some silicone sealer around the fixture for extra protection. They are not really any brighter than the factory model, FYI. But looks good though.

Gasket was nice and thick on this one. Hand torqued it so it had an even gap all around, all's good looks better than OEM in my opinion.

Yup, very true. You know all too well don't ya? Haha

Yes indeed. Btw, the line-x place in sterling was same price as your place down there. So probably not worth the hr drive for me.

Nope, it isn't. Did you ask how much extra the premium was? I paid $75 for mine, if it's within $50 of that then I wouldn't travel

Rt17 one quoted me $110 extra for the premium and I didn't ask the sterling place once i heard the same price for the standard. I'm going to eventually get a cover, so I didn't think it was worth it.

Gotcha. They must have gone up in price or maybe I got a special because I rolled it into part of my loan and they know the people at my dealer because they send them a lot of business

Oh, yeah. I think I read where yours does a ton of work for the dealerships around there.

I got some cargo anchors, but I'm debating on whether to install them first or wait until after i get it sprayed?

They would probably remove them and spray behind them anyways. I'd just wait and let em spray it first, just in case you remove the hooks in the future and it's not coated

Havent got to even go outside today. Been working and trying to expand the products I carry. 5:00 needs to hurry up and come. I need to clean up my truck some since I have to meet with clients tomorrow.

Didn't do much with my truck today other than to move it out of the way for my new toy. They were asking $23800 for a really nice Encore at my local dealer with only 32000 Kms ≈ ( 20000 miles ). Walked in with $23,700 cash in hand and offered the amount on the road taxes in. The sales manager said no way we'd be losing money. I said okay and on my way out bumped into the dealers owner and told him his finance guy said no to the cash. He said give me five and I followed him in. Needless to say I'm the proud owner of a Buick. lol

Beautiful machine never winter driven. So spent my afternoon spit shinning and cleaning it even though it had gone through their so call quality detailing. They missed the tail pipe lol.

When I bought my Sierra I walked in and offered cash. They looked a little flustered and mumbled something about drugs dealers. They sheepishly asked me if I could give them a bank check instead.

I'd have said, "Guess you don't need a sale today", and walked right out the door.

Must be a MA thing. When I bought the '07, I put $8 large down as a down payment. Salesman says, "Nobody pays cash, let alone that much, on a car!" I said, "I ain't 'nobody' " .

Everyone's got to make comments about everything up here, lol. It's a MA thing.
