Everything I hear, but it is just hearsay, mag capacities are going to be reduced. I have 30's stored out of state. I think 10 rd mags with a bullet button is the stupidest thing ever but if I want an AR I have to play by the rules

Not going to happen.............Several states, including my home state of Pennsylvania already have passed bills to make such laws illegal in this state. Pretty sure the one in PA is HR 357.

 

 

I like that the bill number is a "gun" number for reasons I can't put into words.

The mag release has a small button. You have to use something small like the tip of a bullet to drop the mag. Its retarded. Slows my mag change time by about 2 seconds

As long as I leave the first round of the next mag out about half way its easy to hit. It really isn't as big of an inconvenience as 10 rd mags are

It didn't look right with no sling. And I checked out the BAD lever a couple days ago. Bought it today when I bought the QD, MS3, and 100 rds of 5.56

I got rid of the AR a while back. Actually, the post-ban (the AR was bought during the original '94 AWB) upper was sold back in '05, and the lower was just sold before all this nonsense kicked off. Actually I'd promised to sell it to a co-worker but didn't complete the transaction until after this nonsense, but I didn't want to go back on my word. Maybe I'll get another AR one day, maybe not.

 

The magazines are selling for ridiculous amounts right now. I sent a few dozen to my neighbor in Louisiana, and he's already sold 10 for $40 apiece.

Added a 9mm S&W MP barrel for my S&W 40, added Mossberg 20ga bolt action shotty, added Stoeger M3000 12Ga.

 

Girlfriend now says I needa buy a ring before I buy another gun... Sad day.

 

On a side note, I've added a Troy Alpha 9" rail to my RRA shaving 10oz off the front end of the gun, had the 3 stupid sling mounts on the front sight post removed, and have added a new reciever plate for sling attachment. All in all the current AR may be done.. kinda looking into offset iron sights to sight in at 50 yards for fast close range shots.

I just bought some AR parts. All from Magpul, the CTR buttstock, MOE handguard, and the MIAD pistol grip. I am on the hunt for a gas block with a rail on it so I can do a flip up front

Brownells is your friend, great shipping/ customer service and good parts availability. They are the juggernaut in the gun world. Depending on what the diameter that the barrel is under the gasblock = which one to show. link above is a general picanty rail gas block. Also.. the standard front sight post with an optic shouldn't be an issue.. it would co witness on a RDS or holographic and it dissapears with anything over 3X magnification.
