So, I fell stupid as hell. Been driving for 15 years and only now began wiping the car down with a lint free, super soft towel after a rain for a cheap super lazy "car wash". Yes, it doesn't do near as well as with soap and water. However, for a midweek fresher-upper it doesn't do too bad. I wish I would have thought about it sooner.

Good idea. I'm just too lazy to do it. I'm strict about my oil changes and tire rotation but keeping the truck clean....not so much

Agreed. Real easy to scratch the paint. Need to soak with clean water. 2 bucket method for wash.

or use a waterless wash

I guess being that it's a white truck I never really noticed that being a problem. I can see where it would be an issue though. I'll tell you one thing, that waterless wash is pricey!

nah, I bought a gallon of the blackfire stuff and it was like $29.99. All you do it add water to it. I think its a 4:1 ratio so it lasts a long time.

That's a great way to scratch your paint.

And this! No way I'd ever do that. Always a 2 bucket method on my truck
