Cowl hood...what does it look like from the driver's seat?

What "cowl hood"? If you mean like what came on 70 Chevelle SS, it is just a raised middle area of the hood. It will look like the hood is about 2 or 3 inches higher at windshield end.

No, not like that at all....they make them specific to our trucks, but rarely show the vent cover facing the driver. I am asking for a picture from the driver's seat of the one that fits my truck. They are different than the old ones by a mile.

I know what they look like from every other angle...hope this makes this clear for everyone.

If you are going to fork out the money on a cowl induction hood, make sure you make it functional and get an oped top cold air intake. You can seal the area off with a rubber gasket along the top of the air box....Most people only buy these hoods for looks.

When you buy the hood and slap it on the truck, the only thing that those hoods may help is under hood temperatures. Your engine is getting air from the front of the truck/fender well area. It will not feed cooler air through your engine like they claim.

it looks like sex on wheels, what else would you ever need to know?

Sounds like someone needs to come out from under the hood a little more often.....

It will not lower engine temp. It's more for looks and appearance. I have seen several on Sierra denalis gmt800 and it looks sharp. It should not obstruct your driving view unless you're under 5 ft tall. But then again I don't think I've seen people that small driving trucks.

Buy it for looks because that is the only benefit of it. Its not going to improve engine performance in the slightest.
