Arksss Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 Up for sale is a set of LTZ 20" wheels. I bought these with the intentions of removing the chrome clad and then polishing the wheels. Well, long story short, I removed the clad and then started to polish one wheel and then lost interest. I have about 20 hours into them right now. The tires have about 50% tread left. I would be willing to meet in the middle, but will not travel further than 250 miles from 71701. Sorry, no shipping at this time. 1000.00 OBO - Located in South Arkansas Please let me know if you have any questions. These wheels are in perfect condition, no curb rash.
superchargedss Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 wow! those actually look pretty nifty with the cladding removed! GLWS!!!
Arksss Posted August 14, 2012 Author Posted August 14, 2012 Weekly bump. Surprised no one is interested.
Silverado4x4 Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Okay. 900? Thats because they look like you drug them out of a auto junk yard.
cracked_up Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Why not get them powdercoated and use them? I'm sure you can do a chrome or brushed finish or even something different that would look great.
Arksss Posted August 24, 2012 Author Posted August 24, 2012 Okay. 900? Thats because they look like you drug them out of a auto junk yard. So what does this have to do with anything? Did you even read the post? If not interested, then please move on. For all others, this is what they could look like. http://www.gmfullsiz...ght=clad wheels Also, since it was mentioned, here are some pictures with the wheels cleaned. They appeared dirty because I was wet-sanding them. As stated, I started to polish them. A few things in my personal life came up, so I must part with the wheels. I would love to PC them, as I just lowered my truck, but family first. Here are a few pics of the wheels in process... Thanks for looking
Zembonez Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 WOW. There is actually a nice looking wheel behind that ugly plastic.
Arksss Posted September 6, 2012 Author Posted September 6, 2012 Bump. I am going to plastidip one wheel just to give everyone an idea. Will post a few more pictures when complete. Probably Saturday.
Arksss Posted September 8, 2012 Author Posted September 8, 2012 A few people have expressed interest in seeing these wheels in black. I used plastidip to coat one wheel. You see that I taped the tires so I did not make a mess. Let me know what you think....and yes, my wife really loves me. I did have a cam on the countertop for a few days...
Black GMC Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 WOW. I just have to say those are the best 20" rims I have ever seen and I hate 20".
Arksss Posted October 20, 2012 Author Posted October 20, 2012 Quick Bump. Someone has to be interested in these...
BlackZ71Silverado Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 IMO you should put the time in to make the wheels look right, not like crap. You would have a better chance at selling them, the way they look now, good luck.
yukon25008.1 Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 +1.. your gonna get a better response if the wheels are done and look nice.. And possibly adjust price..
Arksss Posted November 9, 2012 Author Posted November 9, 2012 800? Based on what they looked like, they look much better now. They just need a good powder coat.
