Just a suggestion Sarah. Next time try the Krylon paint for plastic. It has a bonding agent in it so it will lay down flat on the plastic. ;)

Doesn't look to bad at all. The color just a hint off from the truck but I kind of like it. I wouldn't mind having mine done. Just don't know what color to make it, Midnight Blue Metallic probably wouldn't look so good I think.

"Again" implies that you've done this before, so if you're not happy with it just do it again. Easier said than done I know, but you'll probably be happier when you get it the way you want it. Keep experimenting until you like it. Your engine compartment looks cleaner than mine...

Try primering it first. Then sand the primer really fine to get out any imperfections. Make sure the surface is super clean before painting each step. A lot of that bubbling is from oils and such on the surface.

Maybe find a primer with an adhesion promoter. I think Dupli-Color makes one.

yea i just scrubbed it with dish soap to get any oil/dirt of it and painted with krylon and hand painted the black didnt even think to primer since when i did my buick it looked so good. i may re do it sometime along with my tail lights. im just pissed because i hung it up outside and as SOON as i went to start painting wind started whipping it around and completely screwed everything up i said alot of bad things.. just my luck right..

heres what i did to my buick this was ceramic engine enamel
