long range fuel tank or auxiliary gas tanks for gmt900 5'9" be

My opinion on secondary fuel tanks. We order our trucks at work with one tank because if the second tank pump fails you gotta replace it because these trucks don't let you pick which tank your using. Actually now that I think about it we haven't had to do a GMT900 fuel pump yet but the 800's were defiantly giving us problems and we had a few 900's slip through the purchase department with double tanks so we will see how it goes.

Mind you, you'd be adding it yourself so you could in theory rig it so you could pick. It would be a lot of modification to add another tank honestly. One larger tank just makes more sense, I know a few guys who have done this with Ford's diesels. Not sure what options are available for GM, but there are larger tanks for F-350 diesels. My friend said he was going to get his fuel gauge re-calibrated for the new tank because it was deeper or something like that. I'll talk to him about it tommorrow, do you have a duramax or gas motor? Buddy gets like 1000 plus kilometers on one tank now LOL.

There was a company named Aero Tanks or something like that...they made higher capacity tanks. Last time I looked though they had dropped all the gas tanks and only had diesel tanks. Liability probably scared them.
