Still looks similar to the current 900's

Either way, this change reminds me of the 04-06 models that they "changed" too. Maybe GM needs some new designer's now.....

Thats why i asked in a different post if the trucks were still going to be 900,s..

Like ryan said, they really dont look that much different.. Compared to the gmt800/900 change>

GM has needed new designers for a while, the current ones don't seem to have any imagination...

Looks like a re-designed 900. Newer grille, more squared fender wells, a little bulge that runs along the bottom side of the truck. Nothing really impressive imo.

I dont mind the small changes . Actually I like the current look of the trucks . Just change the drive train , interior and up grade engines.

Unless the interiors are drastically improved, I will jut buy a 2012 or 2013 2500HD. The exterior looks very similar to the current trucks. I am curious to see the GMC version. Now if they come out with a Raptor like truck, I will seriously have to check that out!

Looks like the GMC to me, If you look at any of the test mule pics I don't see any that have a pronounced wheel well flare like the artist rendering have. Not to say they won't in production but I don;t see it there now.

A Raptor- I thought you wanted a diesel for your trailers?

Oh Hell, you caught me. lol

I'm kind of glad that the Duramax truck I was looking at didnt go through. I am excited to see what they release for 2014. HemiCat, I know you hate the new diesels (emissions BS, etc) First i was sold on a 6.2 1500. Then I wanted a full size bed and crew cab. Then I started looking at 2500 HD's.

Currently I am not pulling anything but have heard great things about the duramax and great MPG if you keep it under 70 on the highway. Now I hear there is a new 6.2 supposedly coming to the 2500's. Now I am really not sure what I want! lol

HaHA!

It's real simple- If you want to be happy towing heavy then the heavy price and burden of a new diesel is worth it. But if you are not towing the new 6.0 does everything else as good or better than the duramax and will be much easier to live with.

Do you like sporty power delivery and handling and still have the ability to tow heavy reasonably well? Get the gas.

Do you need the absolute most power to beat your friends towing and can live with the drawbacks the rest of the time( and be a test mule for GM until they figure the emissions out )? Get the diesel.

But you will not see much of a difference in mileage between the two new trucks gas or diesel unloaded. ( and who cares anyway, at the price of these things?)
