kstruckcountry Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Whichever one was in my write up is the right one.
white1500 Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 10 days to go before my shocks are in stock, let alone ship out!
Daryl LBZ Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Whichever one was in my write up is the right one. It looks different than yours is, and a lot bigger...?
kstruckcountry Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I have never seen one like that. I would assume the one I have will work on anything, I have even seen posts where people put them on SUVs.
txab Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 You two are talking about two different parts Daryl is talking about a vapor canister. #dantheman you're talking about vapor canister soleniod
Daryl LBZ Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Lol! Don't worry there is like 3 different parts for this evap crap.
txab Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Lol! Don't worry there is like 3 different parts for this evap crap. Why do you believe you need to replace the canister and not the solenoid?
Daryl LBZ Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 Why do you believe you need to replace the canister and not the solenoid? Well, I have a code, but I can't remember which one it is off the top of my head. I was just going to replace both so I wouldn't have to worry about it later since I have the bed off now.
Daryl LBZ Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Why do you believe you need to replace the canister and not the solenoid? Here's the code I was talking about yesterday. I had a chance to pull it today. P0449 - EVAP Emission Control System Vent Vlv/Sol Malfunction Sounds like the purge selenoid right?
kstruckcountry Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Same code I had. Check the canister, it's probably full of crap.
Daryl LBZ Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Same code I had. Check the canister, it's probably full of crap. That's the one connected to the end the of the fuel tank right?
kstruckcountry Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Yep it's easy to get at even with the bed on.
Daryl LBZ Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Okay. I'll be pulling it off tomorrow to check it out. Thanks guys.
