Could have a screwed SD card. What brand is it? I know on Newegg, scandal had a bad batch come out and wouldn't read or would erase I think.

It's a samsung. The utility I used tracked down some jpegs and nonfunctional mov files. But all the files I want are mp4.

Anyone have experience with solid state file recovery? I plugged the SD from my gopro in and shortly after that it quit working. Stuck it back in and it asks if I want to format.

I tried a recovery utility, but it couldn't pull any MP4s. Stumped.

videos are probably harder than pictures. There are quite a few different programs the cheapest option is to try them all. If you really want to shell out there are professional services that will TRY for you, but you could probably buy another gopro for what they'd most likely charge.

I already tried the one Carter posted. It dug up some thumbnails that had been assigned to videos, and I'm not sure where it found mov files, but they don't work. I need to find the mp4's. It only had about 2 hours of video from my weeklong trip. But I only took that 2 hours because I thought it was the best part! Fresh snow and a jump we built.

Ok got the videos recovered, but they're "broken" still. So I need some kind of utility to fix them.

Shoulda got her one of these lol. Super fun to shoot, and now I have about 8 magazines for her. Setup a little different though. This is how it looked when I brought it home

It's a bit crazier now. Have a 3-9x40 scope, flashlight, vertical grip, and a bunch of coupled up magazines. Super fun to shoot. Should have just stuck with the red dot, it's just a .22 haha. Here's a pic of it now. I guess I don't have the flashlight on it in this pic
