I just got a new Roku 3(v2) for $49 on clearance at Walmart. The all new line debuts next week. The issue is, the new cheap one, at $30, is basically on par with the older Roku 2, it can do 1080 but three reviews I read have all said it's a little slow. The closest you get to the Roku 3(smooth) power is to get the Premier, which is $80 and 4k. Didnt want that for my kids room and their TV. The performance gap is filled with the $50 Roku stick. But I figured the 3 is on sale for a dollar less and is a little stronger so....

Might check brick seek for a three near you on clearance. I just tried the voice search, works very well for installed apps.

Or just pre order the 4K Premier. I think(hope) Roku learned from the Roku 4, they probably tried hard on the new line. I mean the 4 was the first thing they made that had common issues, and was their 8th device or something.

I might need to upgrade my media PC one day, it doesn't like playing 1080p at 60fps youtube videos. Probably just end up upgrading my main PC and throwing the 8 core and ram into the media to replace the quad core. Basically what I did to build the media pc in the first place. Might get a new graphics card for the media pc and I'll be good to go. Plays 1080p H265 tv shows fine so it has enough grunt for those at least.

Oh, they had another idiot debate tonight? Oh well I probably missed nothing but more stupidity and BS. Probably won't watch any debates until the 2 dominant parties get their crap together and allow 3rd party candidates to debate. So..never.

This one was good, what everyone was hoping for last time. Trump spend most of the time making her defend her actions, but he really dropped a few responses. Maybe he is saving some stuff.

Just noticed only the $130 Ultra in the new line up will have voice search with the remote. (Can maybe use the app, don't know?). So that clearance $49 3 looks even better.

HDMI, batteries, and a credit to the M store or whatever it is that roku has for you to rent movies. May have been something else that I got with it that was given to my brother or mom.
