If anyone is interested, I thought it looked a lot better in person than in the pictures I had seen on the web, etc.post-15846-0-23445500-1358809872_thumb.jpgpost-15846-0-96420500-1358809892_thumb.jpgpost-15846-0-49564500-1358809905_thumb.jpg

You could not get in the new GM trucks but they had cutouts and places you could touch and look at the interior. I did reach over and let the taligate fall on that Chevy (it has a the slow dropping tailgate).

Personally i thought the Chevy looked worse in person and the GMC looked better in person. It was nice to see the bed rails were still low enough to reach over, especially after checking out the concept Ford (although it did look great even though most of the really neat stuff would probably never see production)

On antoher note i was told by a GM source that the new SUV's would be unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show...

I saw a GMC and Chevy K2 at the philly auto show last weekend and had the same thoughts. I have yet to sit in the new interior, but i like what i see so far.

I have taken a few rides in them. I am not sold on the looks of the interior, but functional, they're great! I personally think having great function is better than having great look.

They're a whole hell of a lot quieter inside as well. Huge difference.

I think they're good trucks, but I could see them getting a mild refresh after 2-3 years. We'll see though

Wish I could have gone to the show. But they post no guns so they don't get my money.

No, dont think it changed at all. Very little if anything.

The thing I like is they're offering CC with 6.5' beds in 1/2tons! This is a feature you could only get in 3/4ton before. Great decision IMHO.

Any specs as far as the crew cab goes? Did they make it bigger, (more legroom) like the Dodge Mega cab? I am going to the Chicago auto show Cant wait to see it.

The B pillar was moved forward a few inches but that's all I know about it

There was an interview question about this and they said that the cab size did not change. It "feels" roomier due to the high front dash and the rear feels roomier because they moved the B pillar up a few inches for additional "foot swing"

I hope it's better, getting into the back of the current crew cabs is snug, the doors are too narrow. One of my customers has a F150 crew cab and I was shocked at how much room there is back there. I definitely like GM over anyone else but they missed a massive opportunity here to improve. I could ride cross-country in the back of that Ford but the current GM layout is too snug for taller adults. No matter since my next truck will probably be a reg. cab.

Chrome door handles, mirror caps, and window trim. Congrats GM. You rounded the corners of an 80s model and updated the interior. I sure hope they offer a painted trim edition. That Atlas looks awesome though.

I was also at the show and thought they looked better in person than in photos. The All Terrain Sierra took the cake for me though, for trucks that is. I thought the exhibit for the Stingray took the whole show by storm.
