2010 Silverado 4x4 Reg Cab, short bed - Biggest tire size

Looking at getting rid of the 265/70/R17's that are currently on the truck and want to put a bit bigger AT tire in their place. I do have a rough Country leveling kit installed. I am really not interested in going much wider but a bit taller would be nice.

 

What about 285/70/17? Taller? I really dont want to go much wider. Wider = worse in mud and deep snow.

 

Opinions suggestions welcome.

With a leveling kit, 285/70/17 is probably your best option, since you don't want to go much wider than stock.
