New Truck Advice

I'm just about to pull the trigger on a new 2013 Silverado. Its a 1500 extended with average equipment. It has the 5.3 6 speed auto transmission 4x4 cloth seats and standard bed. I think they call it the all star package. Its a nice truck and I get employee pricing thanks to my very hard working brother in law. I know its a great deal and with the rebates its around 9 grand off sticker of 37400. I plan to tow this behind a motorhome and I believe it will work great other than being a little heavy at 5200lbs. I tried to buy a Canyon but they are as much as a full size and there is not much stock left out there right now. I also was planing to buy a reg cab but with the dog and the wife there is not much room in it. Really most of the time it will be just me but when we travel it would be a issue.

So I have the truck picked out my question is do I wait for the 2014 or buy now. This is a truck I will have for a very long time. I don't drive on long trips and we have an Enclave so that gets used when there will be more than myself and the wife so 4-5 thousand a year will be about it. I know its way more truck than I need but like I said its a good deal and the same or less money than a Jeep or a Colorado or Canyon.

I dont have a out the door price yet but they can't really deal much on a employee priced truck can they?

Personal preference really.. If you like the new 2014 style i would hold off for a few months and get the new one. They usually put them on the lot mid summer.

Then again, I'm sure the rebates will not be as good. You will still get the employee discount, just the extras they are offering now will surely go away on the 14's. I love my '12 and am glad I bought it when I did.
